Upcoming Concerts

Okay guys, here's a summary of the upcoming concerts. I strongly encourage everyone to attend at least one of them. By listening to more music, you open you ears and learn how to listen to the band.

24 March, Monday at 7pm
ACJC Band concert @ Esplanade
Tickets: $21 and $25
Pieces: Lord of the Rings
Armanean Dances
Charming Asia
Blue Horizons

ACJC Band is a gold with honours band and the pieces they play are REAL BAND REPERTOIRE. So do go.


27 March, Thursday at 8pm

SNYO concert @ VCH
Tickets: $12 at sistic
Pieces: Festive Overture
Haydn Trumpet Concerto in Eb major by Lau Wen Rong (pro kia)
Tchaivkosky's symphony no.5 in E minor

Trumpet section is strongly encouraged to attend this concert to watch the trumpet concerto and listen to festive overture.


29 march, saturday at 7.30pm
West Wind concert "All thing Japanese" @ Esplanade
Tickets: $12 for students at sistic

Some of the pieces stated here will be conducted by the composer so you might want to check it out. Fei Yang says that West Winds is a very good band.
